Do I need to bring lunch?
No, lunch will be provided on both days along with refreshments throughout the day.
Is accommodation provided?
Not for this course at this point (November 2021) This maybe reviewed nearer the time.
Is transport available?
No, there is public transport available from the centre of Inverness.
Is there a cost for the training?
No. However training does cost money. Once you have a confirmed booking we ask that you let us know immediately if you cannot attend for any reason so that we can offer the place to someone else. If you don't attend without letting us know (no-show) your District Commissioner will be notified and your District will be invoiced by the Region for the cost of training place. Full terms and conditions for attending the training will be sent out to everyone requesting a place.
Is childcare available?
Unfortunately not. We would love to provide this and the aim is to make training as accessible as possible. Face to Face training is just getting underway again and there are a huge amount of logistics involved and we can't organise childcare this time. It is high on the agenda for future events. We have made it possible to attend individual modules for this course which does increase the administration of the event but hopefully makes it more accessible.
What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?
Once we have confirmed your place we will ask you to let us know if there are any arrangements or adjustments we need to make to ensure you can participate in the training.
Anything else happening at the training weekend?
Yes! Validation sessions, Executive Committees, Advising on Adult Appointments, Compass, Communication & The Brand Centre. More details to follow...
How do I get more information?
