Cally Rally

Welcome to the Caledonian Rally, affectionately known as the 'Cally Rally' by the thousands of young and old who have participated over the years and enjoyed the Unique Cally Rally experience, since the beginning at Loch Oich.  The Rally comes under the auspices of the Highlands and Islands Region of The Scout Association and is open to both members of The Scout Association and Girlguiding aged 13-17.  Alongside the Scout members of the organising team are representatives from the Guides.

Our annual activities weekend held in the Scottish Highlands brings young people from both our associations together, encouraging their personal self confidence and creating new friendships together through self reliance by camping within their own group of friends and actively interacting with Young People from the many other parts of Scotland by participating in what may be new challenges to them.

The Rally organising team sometimes brings in specialist instructors for specific activities but the majority of our Rally instructors and staff come from Scout and Guide Groups in your Districts.  They hold their relevant adventurous activity qualifications or instructor qualifications for their chosen activities governing body.
