The following gives some information on the activities that are in this year’s programme.

Drive a motorised cruiser in the picturesque surroundings of the Caledonian Canal and Loch Ness – if you are lucky you might catch a glimpse of the Loch Ness Monster near Urquhart Castle.  Practise picking up a floating object – not that easy if the water is at all choppy when it is difficult to keep object in sight.  You may get a chance to navigate through Dochgarroch Locks.

Water Activities

Sailing:Experience the thrill of harnessing the wind by sailing either single handed or two person dinghies in the tranquil surroundings of Loch Dochfour and Dores Bay.

Kayaking:Come try your hand at traditional kayaking in single seat kayaks on the canal and scenic Loch Dochfour.  We cater for three different groups – beginners, intermediate and advanced.

Canadian Canoeing: What is the J – stroke?  Learn the skills of open Canadian canoeing while experiencing a scenic trip down the canal to Loch Dochfour while imagining yourself as a pioneer in the wilds of Canada!

Bell Boating: If you are up for a real team building challenge come take up the bell boating challenge.
